For lack of anything actually clever to write about. :)

Chuck is still a frothy bit of fun. Worth seeing, but not addictive. Intelligent and funny to some extent...still finding its legs. The mistrust theme tonight was okay and not played for the true potential of stupidity (which is more positive than the phrasing sounds, honest!). I'm waiting to see a bit more of an adventure story, but I can understand the necessity of more work building up the initial characterizations. Again, I won't go out of my way to watch this yet, but I'll watch it when I realize it is on.

Heroes had another good episode, as expected. I'm impressed that Peter still has access to most of his powers, even without his memory. I like the memory as an impediment better when it doesn't completely cripple him. Gotta wonder why he didn't use his teke to grab the box, though. :) The killer is still good and mysterious, speaking of the Petrelli family. I liked Matt to the rescue! I'm glad to see Jimmy Jean-Louis back and impressed with Mohinder for the subtlety he used handling Bob. Maya and Alejandro are revealing a little more of themselves...not really grabbing me yet, except for the fact that she's quite attractive. But I'd rather better plot, honestly. As for Claire's story...ewwww for the toe. And it is good to know that Mr. Muggles is smart enough to look UP. Nice to know that Takezo is a regenerator. Now if only Hiro could get the girl...but she'd never understand modern life...ah well. Everything is still in the building phase of the plot. I want to see it come together a bit more soon...hopefully it will.

Journeyman is intelligently written and clever. Unfortunately, the tone just isn't grabbing me. I think this is the kind of show I really have to be in the mood to see...and I'm not in it. Maybe I'll check it out on DVD in a year or two if I hear continual good things, but I'm not motivated to keep it on at this point. Just a bit too dour and generally uninspiring for me right now.

quite attractive

Isn't just about everyone on that show?

Well, yes, of course. :) However, the point was that the particular plotline (unlike the others) only has attractiveness going for it...nothing else about it grabs me.

The toe was gross indeed.

I am amused that Mr. Muggles is not only brighter than Claire's adopted mother, but Claire herself as well.

Poor Mr. Muggles. his life is hard and lacking in dignity.

I love Takeda's actor. The contrast between future and present self. The way he brings dignity to what could have been a stereotype. The cyrano turn is heartbreaking.

Claire isn't really stupid. She's a teen. That has built-in blind spots. :)
