My son, the amazing
neo_blackwolf, is crossing over from the Webelo program to the Boy Scouts tonight.
He came late to the Webelos. It is generally a two year program, but he only joined in the fall of last year. That may be a good thing, though. In the ensuing 9 months, he has managed to earn 16 of the 20 Activity Badges that a Webelo can earn. He has also earned the Arrow of Light, which is considered the highest single award in Cub Scouting...it is actually the only award from Cub Scouts that carries over to the Boy Scout uniform.
It has been a lot of hard work and, I hope, a lot of fun for him particpating in Webelos this year. I know I've definitely enjoyed helping him earning his badges. I'm very, very proud of all that he has done. He's really grown in so many ways in his time in scouting.
Congrats,
neo_blackwolf!!
