Still Alive
Jul. 20th, 2006 09:43 amYes, I'm still alive. Spending a lot of time packing and working, but still alive. This coming week is the Boy Scout camping trip, where I shall spend a week with no internet access or even electronic devices. It is possible that the world may come to an end. The last time I spent so long away from connectivity was well before I can remember. :)
Mostly packed for the move now...just have to box up a handful of straggling items for myself this week. After that, I can concentrate on cleaning and helping![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
neo_blackwolf pack. Hopefully that will be fairly smooth once we get rolling. An awful lot of his possessions can be defined as trash or yard sale items. He's far too packratty, especially given the size of his room. :) He gets it honestly, though. His mom is a packrat and I used to be...still fighting down the last of those tendencies.
Week after next, once we are back from camp and have celebrated Neo's 11th Birthday (the 29th), I can pack up kitchenware and continue to help Neo pack. His mom is trying to move as close to the same day as possible, but we will have the apartment until the end of August, so we can slide a bit on him being fully packed, especially since he is having to decide on splitting things between two residences for the first time.
Hopefully, if we can get out in the first half of the month, this will give us a chance to thoroughly clean the apartment for the landlord at a less frantic pace than when we have moved in the past, too.
