Remainder of the Weekend...
Feb. 4th, 2007 10:03 pmFriday: Running around to pick up some cables and a PS3 game. Came home, ate simply and played the game until bedtime for both of us came.
Saturday: A lot of Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom

neo_blackwolf loves it, but he is only 11. :) The game is heavy on the hack and slash, light on the plot. By now we're about 2/3rds of the way through it, since it is much shorter than it advertises. A great deal of replay value for the 11 year old, though.
We also watched a couple of episodes of Farscape and straightened both of our bedrooms (ie: substantial cleaning and re-organizing, but we didn't quite vaccuum) and the living room. I cleaned the kitchen and we both did some reading. Breakfast was mostly bananas, lunch was pizza and neo cooked chicken and veggies for dinner. After he was in bed, I rewatched Born to the Purple. (I'm rewatching Season One of Babylon 5, then moving on to Seasons 2-5, which I have never seen.)
Sunday: More gaming. Another episode of Farscape. More reading (he's almost finished ASFC and I'm a couple of books further along). We spent some time at the local arcade, Walmart and Barnes & Noble, where I burned a gift card fromkintani and Sam quite happily. Mmmmm...new books. Neo volunteered to make lunch...we had Campbell's green pea soup and grilled cheese (asiago on German Dark bread). Some more reading interrupted, as well as some quality time with the biography he is reading for school. We spent some time discussing it, although he convinced me he was up to date on the actual written assignments.
Some discussion was had on budgetting. I gave Neo a flat amount for our Arcade/Shopping time and he budgetted what went into the arcade for both of us and what he saved for the store for him (as I said, I had my gift card). He made sure there was enough left for a new Calvin and Hobbes collection. :)
And now, I think I shall watch another B5 ep before bed. G'night!
